The more offset points you earn, the more trees we will plant!

For every 21 offset points you earn, we will plant a tree on your behalf.

Our trees are planted by Greenfleet, who are an Approved Abatement Provider under the Department of Climate Change's Greenhouse Friendly™ programme.

To find out more about Greenfleet, go to greenfleet.com.au.

You Offset

Over their lifetime, 17 trees (growing as part of a native forest), will offset your carbon emissions for one year#.

This means that by making one click-a-day you will offset a whole year of emissions.

As an incentive to get you started, we will offset a week's carbon emissions just for signing up.

You will also be rewarded with a further week of offset points for every new member who accepts your invitation to join ClickGreen.

#The Fine Print

How does 1 click equal one day of offset?
Seventeen mixed species of trees over their lifetime will absorb a year's worth of the average car's* greenhouse emissions, or a typical person's annual household emissions**.

How does planting trees offset carbon emissions?
Trees and other plants take (sequester) carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as they grow, through the process of photosynthesis. This decreases the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and helps reduce the impact of climate change.

The trees planted form biodiverse native forests - which means the forest contains a mixture of native species, typical of the area prior to land clearing. The carbon uptake over the life of a tree within these forests is estimated using the National Carbon Accounting Toolbox. These estimates are very conservative so we can be confident that enough carbon is sequestered.
